Oracle 1

Oracle v1 was an experimental database management system that was never released to the public. Oracle's first official database release was Oracle 2.

Apparently Oracle 1 ran on a VAX system in PDP-11 emulation mode under the RSX operating system with 128 KB of memory. It was written in assembly language. The code was at that stage already divided into separate database and user processes (two task code isolation).
